OUR
CONTRACT
You
enter into a legally binding contract with City Blinds on receipt of a
Full / Part payment or a signed order.
PRICE
The
price shown on the order form is the full price you pay. The price per
blind is fully inclusive of VAT. We offer a full measuring and fitting
service which is free of charge on all of our domestic blinds, contract
work will be estimated at point of sale. A delivery charge,
currently of £15 is payable in respect of deliveries made to locations
within the UK mainland. The delivery charge is shown on the order
confirmation page. If you require delivery outside of the UK mainland
you are advised to contact us in advance of placing your order. If there
is any change in the delivery charge payable we will notify you before
your order is processed.
PAYMENT
A
deposit of approximately 20 % of order value should be paid on the date
of order, with full balance to be paid on fitting of blinds. Payment can
be made by Cash, Cheque, Credit /Debit card. We will hold blinds up to a
maximum of 3 weeks from we contact you to say blinds are ready for
fitting, and full payment must be made prior to arrangement.
RIGHT
TO CANCEL OR AMEND YOU ORDER

If you wish to amend or cancel your order after we have accepted it
please contact us as soon as possible by e-mail. Due to our quick
processing of orders it is essential we are contacted by 10am the next
morning following date of placing order otherwise your goods will
already be in production.
If the
goods you have ordered have not been manufactured we will cancel your
order, however we reserve the right to retain a handling charge of 30%
of the full order value.
If you
wish to cancel your order and the goods have been measured or
custom-made to your requirements these goods will not be re-saleable by
us. We regret that once your order has been accepted by us in relation
to such goods and entered on our manufacturing process we are unable to
accept any changes to these goods or cancellation of your order.
BY US:
We reserve the right to cancel your order if: you require delivery
outside the UK, the goods you requested are no longer available due to
being discontinued and/or the price you have been quoted is incorrect
due to a typographical error or error in the system.
If we do cancel your order we will notify you by e-mail and will
re-credit your debit or credit card as soon as possible but in any event
within 30 days of cancellation notice. We will not be obliged to offer
any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
If you order goods which are no longer available for any reason, such as
stock shortages, discontinued line, we will contact you immediately to
discuss alternatives. You then have the right to cancel your order and
receive a full refund or amend your order to new specifications which
have been offered to you by us.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS AND MEASUREMENT
Product information and photographs contained within our web-site are
provided for illustrative purposes only and we cannot warrant that they
are accurate. If you are in any doubt as to the precise nature of the
product or fabric you wish to order, you are advised to order a free
sample of the product prior to placing your order.
The goods you order are made to measurements provided by you, with small
deductions for purposes of fixings, and therefore it is very important
that your measurements are accurate. We cannot accept the return of the
goods by reason of the measurements provided being incorrect. If you are
uncertain in any way how to measure for your blind you are advised to
contact us prior to ordering.
Every attempt is made by us to ensure that the goods sold and delivered
match in every respect any sample or description shown or given or sent
to you, any minor or immaterial variation or change in colour or pattern
between the sample or description and the Goods delivered shall not
entitle You to reject the Goods nor to claim any compensation for such
variation or change
